The Story

Adaptiv is a non-profit organization with a mission to reduce inequality by providing access to high-quality planning and architecture services in emerging communities across the globe. They promote sustainable community development by employing a community-centric, collaborative methodology of research and design thinking. Proportion created a vibrant brand identity reflective of the organization’s reach & impact.

Representing connection within a global community.

The woven motif of the abstract A icon represents global community. At the heart of the logo is a hand that radiates outward for collaboration and social connection. The curved leaf form with upward movement relates to sustainable growth. The logo is paired with a bright color palette and subtle texture that connects to the vibrancy of a community market.

Evoking an organization’s impact.

Overall the visual impact of the Adaptiv identity is meant to reflect the community impact of the architectural organization in it’s mission to further the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.
