Kiva has over 10 years of project management experience in creative fields, using her combination of organizational skills and design knowledge to lead projects effectively. As a process nerd, she enjoys setting up internal workflow systems to facilitate design teams’ work, keeping tasks steadily on track and the creativity flowing. Kiva excels at keeping her finger on the details for every project at Proportion, large or small, and providing a high level of service to clients. She appreciates a good status update, clever segues in meetings, and the satisfaction of crossing things off her to-do list.

Her interest in design began as an early obsession with historical fashion (through her American Girl books and doll), leading her to later pursue a degree in fashion design at UC Davis. Kiva went on to work in the fashion industry, designing jeans in Los Angeles before transitioning over to the administrative side, and earning a master’s in arts administration from Indiana University. In her journey across the country, she then moved to Boston to work at a non-profit and other design-based organizations before landing at Proportion.

Originally from Arizona and forever a “West Coast, best coast” proclaimer, Kiva has learned to embrace her New Englander status. When she’s not sending emails, she spends her time daydreaming about the desert, quietly judging fashion choices, poring over photos of old houses, or relaxing on her couch with a new book.
